When looking up the pump for my truck they said '63 was the right one but found out after dropping the gas tank that '49 was the right pump for my truck but it was too late.
I called Amazon they made it right only after argueing the fact it they said it was right to start with.That was on a saturday they got me the '49 by tuesday and only lost 2 days work.
Check as many websites and stores to make sure you get the right one before you take it down to repair or replace.
